Method 2. Download profile picture from Whatsapp Web using a Computer
You can take a screenshot or save any picture from your contacts’ profiles using WhatsApp Web. the restrictions on screenshots do not apply in web.
1. Go to WhatsApp Web on your computer browser. To log in, use your mobile device to scan the QR code and log in.
2. Open the chat of the person whose profile photo you want to save. click on their name at the top to view their contact details.
3. Click on the profile picture to view it in a larger size.
4. Now take a screenshot or Right-click on the image, and select “Save image as…” Choose a location on your computer to save the picture.
5. The image will be saved as “file.enc” by default, To view the file normally, just rename it to something like “file.jpeg” or change the file extension to “jpeg.”
